February Wrap-Up & March Goals
And just like that, February is over and we are onto to March. I had 7 lofty goals for my Fitness February but I am sad to say that I didn’t achieve all of them. L ended up getting the stomach flu and that put us out of gym commission for almost 10 days.
#1 – Run at least 100 miles in February – Achieved! I ran exactly 100 miles
#2 – Attend at least one Bar Method class a week (Already attended class today 2/2) – Fail, I only went to one class
#3 – Try 2 new classes at the gym and pray Mr. L lets me complete the class - Fail
#4 – Swim at least once a week and for at least 1500 yards – Success! I really missed swimming.
#5 – Take at least one spin class in order to see if that love can be rekindled – Fail
#6 – stretch, stretch, stretch - Stretched daily YAY!
#7 – do an at home yoga DVD at least once a week while Mr. L naps – Fail, I didn’t even buy the DVD
#1 – Run at least 100 miles – I think this will be my monthly goal
#2 – Finish the E. Todd Murray Half (3/3) and the NYC Half (3/17) – I am going to see how I do at this weekend’s half before I make a time goal for NYC.
#3 – Take one spin class
#4 – Run at least one stroller run a week – L and I both missed it and the weather is finally getting better
#5 – Keep swimming once a week but increase the distance to 1750-2000 yards
#6 – Run at 5k with the stroller
#7 – A long run of 16 miles
The NJ Marathon is quickly approaching and right now, my heart just isn’t in it. I feel like I’m going through the training motions instead of being super enthusiastic. L is going through a sleep regression phase and we are up 3-4 times a night. I know the lack of sleep is definitely causing me some problems.
