Broke Down House

Today’s Workout: 5 mile treadmill run

I’m starting to think that everything I touch is going to break.  Last week I spent 2 hours at the car dealership getting my wheels fixed.   I was driving around last Wednesday when the car started making an awful rattling noise.  Rattling = no good.  I took the car to the dealership, explained the noise, was asked if I hit something and didn’t know it, was then asked if I am sure it’s making a noise and then told that yes, there is something wrong with the car.  Uh duh sales guy.  Just because I’m a woman doesn’t mean I don’t know how to drive.  Ughhh.

I admit, I love taking a bubble bath and reading my Kindle while Mr. L has his morning snooze (which is going on hour #2 right now).  I went to turn on the Kindle and the screen is frozen.

Kindle #3 bites the dust and I’ve already hit the order button on #4.  I’m going for the Paperwhite this time.  Yup, I’m fancy.

L and I headed to the zoo last week and I decided to take the BOB.  I lifted the BOB into the trunk and off pops a wheel.  At first I thought the wheel was just on wrong but then it happened again.

Seems that I’ve lost a screw and the BOB needs some TLC.  Good thing its freezing outside and L and I aren’t tempted to go for a run.  Not even tempted a bit.   Hello 9 degree wind chills.

I am hoping my broke down week ends today.   Crossing fingers :)

  1. I think I’d cry if my Kindle died. I have the Fire, and I love it. A new Kindle is a good reason for a new book :)

And poor BOB. We had to take one of our wheels in the other week. Apparently, it had a sliver of glass causing a slow leak. BOO!
