Lean Pockets Review and Giveaway

The nice folks at Lean Pockets contacted me to do a product review and giveaway.  I used to eat Lean Pockets all the time while losing 40+lbs back in 2006 so I was excited to try some new flavors.  Last Saturday, L and I headed to the grocery store to pick up our 3 boxes.

There was a HUGE selection at the grocery store and many more selections than I had remembered.  There was even a new line of Lean Pockets pretzel bread sandwiches in Grilled Chicken Jalapeño Cheddar, Spinach Three Cheese and Roasted Turkey with Bacon & Reduced Fat Cheese.  I choose the new Grilled Chicken Jalapeño Cheddar

L and I got home and I heated one of each up for a taste test.   I was again surprised at how great they tasted.  I loved the Philly Steak & Cheese and polished off the other one for my Monday lunch.  The meat was flavorful and the cheese was creamy.  I must admit that the pretzel crust on the Grilled Chicken Jalapeño Cheddar was all sorts of awesome and I didn’t even realize I was eating a lean meal.

Lean Pockets are more than just a great meal for the on the go mom, each one only has 8 grams of fat and is a good source of calcium and protein.  When I was working, I would heat up a Lean Pocket and enjoy it with a side salad.  It was the perfect, quick and healthy workday meal!  Now that I am home, Lean Pockets provides me with a fast and healthy meal.
