Friday Angst

Today’s Workout: 6 mile run/1.5 mile stroller walk

TGIF!  Anyone else as ready for the weekend as me?  I’ve had a couple of annoying days in a row so this is my Friday rant.  Another good name for this post would be What the F#*k Friday.

-I heart Olympics.  I heart watching the Olympics on TV.  I do not heart my cable being out during the Olympics.

I got home on Wednesday to no cable for no reason.  A new cable box & 1.5 hours on the phone with Comcast and I still have NO cable.  Someone is coming out to check on it tomorrow and thank goodness, they aren’t going to charge me (insert sarcasm..Comcast, your product isn’t working, why do I have to pay for you to fix it?).

-Big Brother is one of my favorite guilty pleasure summer shows.  I have watched it from the beginning but this season is making me mad.  Coaches?  Coaches now in the game?  I feel like they are ruining people’s game play for ratings.  But, hey, what’s new?  Ratings trump everything.

Why yes, I am watching it on my COMPUTER because my cable is out.

-Target is no longer selling my favorite coffee vanilla syrup.  WTF???!??  Guess Amazon is getting even more of my business.

-The “my brake light is out again” light came on in my car the other day.  This is the 3rd time in the past two weeks and I’ve had it replaced twice.  Something else is wrong with the car so L and I spent yesterday morning at the dealership.  This is our 6th visit since March and we are now on 1st name basis with the staff.  Good thing they are nice!

And…end rant….

Hopefully today brings good things and less annoying ones to my life.  Anyone else need to let off some steam?  Rant away!
