Week 38 Pregnancy Update
Today’s Workout: 1500 meter swim
Week 38 and I’m still pregnant. I am 150% uncomfortable all the time but I want Little Fella to keep baking if he isn’t ready to meet the world yet.
I have to admit that I have zero motivation to workout. Everything makes me tired and just thinking about going to the gym makes me want to take a nap. I am trying to keep up the workouts but I’m definitely not stressing if I don’t fit one in each day.
What’s Up With Baby? – Little Fella is just gaining weight, maturing his lungs and keeping us in suspense. Doctor said that this is the exciting time for him too, he never knows when he is going to get the call!
How Am I Feeling? – To sum it up…MISERABLE. My calves are cramping, everything below my waist is sore and my back hurts. I feel like I am falling apart but I can’t wait to meet our little guy.
How Have I Changed? – Just bigger but my super deep belly button still hasn’t popped. I’m ok with that though. I had a zero pound weight gain at the doctor last week and overall, I am up 27 lbs. I wonder if I have reached the point where I won’t be gaining any more weight? That would be nice.
Has There Been Progress with the Nursery? – I’ve written so many times how the husband and I have been super procrastinators when it has come to the nursery but I’m excited to report that progress has been made. All the furniture is put together and his clothes are all washed, folded and put in the drawers. I ordered a cute lighthouse lamp from PBKids.com and the shell mirror has been hung. I can’t wait to finish with all the final touches.

My family has been taking bets on when Little Fella will make his appearance. My husband’s entire family thinks I’m going to go early while my entire family is predicting late….grrr my family.
